Patient Details
This is a 38 year old thin woman who underwent bilateral breast augmentation by another plastic surgery many years ago. She was not happy with the appearance of the breasts. The implants were very high relative to the position of the nipple-areolar complexes, which were at the base of the breasts and looking downward! She had signs of tuberous breast deformities with constricted lower poles of the breasts. She also had capsular contractures of both breasts. I recommend removing and replacing the old implants (380cc textured silicone gel) with new Allergan 365cc smooth silicone gel implants kept in submuscular pockets. Partial capsulectomies were performed as well as vertical mastopexies. She is shown before surgery and five months post-op.
