This is a 39 year old mother of two who presented with marked asymmetry in shape of her augmented breasts and recent imaging confirmation of ruptured right silicone gel implant. Her goals were to remove the implants and have no new implants and to correct the shape asymmetry. She underwent explantation of a right ruptured 280cc gel implant and left intact 260cc gel implant. Total capsulectomies were performed. No new implants were placed. She underwent bilateral full anchor mastopexy to correct the drooping, poor shape, and asymmetry. She is shown before surgery and six weeks post-op.
This is a 34 year old mother of two who wished to have correction of advanced drooping of her breasts and volume loss following pregnancies. She underwent staged full anchor mastopexy followed by augmentation mammaplasty. The second stage operation was performed three months after the first stage. 265cc round demi profile Motiva breast implants were used for the augmentation. She is shown before surgery, 2 months following the first stage operation, and only one day following the second stage operation.
This is a 38 year old thin woman who underwent bilateral breast augmentation by another plastic surgery many years ago. She was not happy with the appearance of the breasts. The implants were very high relative to the position of the nipple-areolar complexes, which were at the base of the breasts and looking downward! She had signs of tuberous breast deformities with constricted lower poles of the breasts. She also had capsular contractures of both breasts. I recommend removing and replacing the old implants (380cc textured silicone gel) with new Allergan 365cc smooth silicone gel implants kept in submuscular pockets. Partial capsulectomies were performed as well as vertical mastopexies. She is shown before surgery and five months post-op.
This is a 48 year old woman who had previously undergone breast augmentation and breast lift by another plastic surgeon many years previously. She was not satisfied with the aesthetic results provided by the previous plastic surgeon and expressed an interest in improving her breasts. She wished to have the breast a bit smaller, better shaped, more symmetrical, and softer and more natural in feel. Her previous augmentation was with 600cc saline implants, and she had developed capsular contractures with malposition of her implants. Her areolas were also irregularly shaped and too large.
She underwent complete revision of her breasts, including removal and replacement of the old implants with 525cc silicone round demi profile Motiva implants supported internally with Galaflex mesh. She underwent capsulectomy, and capsulorrhaphy to correct the malposition. She also underwent secondary mastopexy (breast lift). She is shown before surgery and six weeks post-op!
This is a 52 year old mother of two who previously had undergone bilateral breast augmentation with 650cc ultra high profile silicone gel implants. Recently, she developed a left breast shape change and firmness. An ultrasound revealed a left implant rupture.
She underwent bilateral breast implant removal and replacement with 700cc ultra high profile silicone gel implant as well as left capsulectomy. She is shown before surgery and four weeks post-op.
